Martina “Martini” Bartlova

Martina was born and raised in Prague, Czech Republic where she attended Prague Culinary Institute. After graduation, she was quickly hired by two of the best restaurants in Prague. To kick off the new year, in 2012, she decided to make the move to the United States and call Key West her new home! She was hired by one the best dessert restaurants on the Island, “Better Than Sex”, and became the Sous Chef. A few years later, she decided to join our family at La Trattoria bartending at Virgilio’s shaking up some delicious martinis!!! It was through Virgilio’s that she starting catering with us at Catered Affairs. Through her hard work, endless dedication and positive attitude, Martina was offered a full time position in January 2019. Accepting the offer, she can now focus on her true passion, making people happy with delicious food and great drinks on our beautiful island. Martina considers it to be an honor when our guests select us to be part of their very special day!

Martina loves to work out, travel the world, horseback riding, wine and cheese parties with her friends and most of all spending time on the lovely waters of the Florida Keys. Affectionately known as the “Czech Princess” by her colleagues, having Martina as part of your event means you’ve got the BEST! Did we mention she loves wine and cheese parties with her friends! LOL!
