All I can say is WOW! We started working with Amy with Catered Affairs in June of 2016 for our April 2017 wedding. She was extremely professional and thorough in explaining Catered Affairs options and their process. Amy and the chef coordinated their schedules to fit ours when we were in town for a tasting. Come wedding time, Catered Affairs delivered. The food was amazing. It was served fresh, not from a chafing dish. My guests could not stop complimenting us on the food and how friendly the servers and bar staff were. The staff was friendly, smiling, and always made sure there was a drink in my hand. 🙂 From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception, everything went extremely as planned and transitioned smoothly. I cannot say enough great things about Catered Affairs. They are the way to go 110%.
My husband and I worked with Catered Affairs for our destination wedding at the Key West Garden Club in May. We cannot say enough positive things about the attentiveness of the company. They worked extremely hard to ensure we had everything we could have desired; even designing a Cuban Coffee bar with iced cafe con leches and bucci shots to incorporate our love for Cuban coffee. They worked hard with us to design the perfect menu for food as well. As a bride with a severe peanut allergy- I was nervous working with anyone. Catered Affairs made sure that there was absolutely no cross-contamination and made me feel at ease! We choose everything during the tasting (and did not need to change much-everything was so good!). We had one guest who was a vegetarian and did not eat dairy- they were more than able to accommodate. We just informed them where the guest was sitting and did not need to worry about anything. The food was incredible. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the eggplant stack was. We will absolutely be back to the company's restaurant for our first anniversary!
We worked with Bradi Parks throughout the whole process; and absolutely recommend any couple hosting a Key West wedding to do the same! We hired Bradi as our Day-of planner as well. At first, I wasn't sure if I needed a Day-Of Planner; however, now, I do not know what I would have done without her. She organized our rehearsal, directed everyone for the ceremony, and communicated with all of our vendors. Bradi was in constant communication with me for months leading up to the Big Day. Her replies were very time efficient; and communicated through email, text and call. She went above and beyond a wedding planner's role- even filling her personal car with our wedding belongings because we ran out of rental car space to drop them off. When I arrived at the wedding, all of our personal items were set up in perfect locations! We are so grateful to have had our dream wedding!
Catered Affairs of Key West did an outstanding job cooking and serving delicious food for our wedding. We had so many compliments on the food during the night and even a thank you note afterwards from a guest about how astounding the food was at the wedding (we still can’t believe we got a thank you note!). The serving staff were all stars at the event too, making sure that people swung by with food for me between photos and mingling with guests and even had plates of food prepared for the sweetheart table at our buffet dinner. I can’t say enough how wonderful the food and staff were!
We could not have been any happier with the professionalism, excellent service, and the outstanding quality of food we chose from Catered Affairs of KW for our wedding reception and cocktail hour. Bradi and her team were wonderful to work with. Everything was absolutely amazing! Planning a destination wedding is difficult and not having the ability to sample the food you're serving can bring on additional stress. Booking with Catered Affairs was one of the best decisions we made. The presentation was perfect! A month after our wedding our guests were still raving about the food and customer service at our reception. I would absolutely RECOMMEND hiring Catered Affairs of KW for any of your catering needs!
Catered Affairs was beyond amazing, if you live or are having a wedding in Key West you will definitely miss out if you do not chose Catered Affairs to be your caterer company for your wedding. The food was amazing, I even had some of the guests try to remake their coconut shrimp, because they loved it that much. The service was beyond anything I could imagine, Amy helped us throughout the whole process, she made sure we were happy with our selections and decisions, she did not pressure us with anything we did not want, she just went with the flow. We are locals on Big Pine Key, and we had just started planning our wedding right after Irma hit. I thought this was going to make things harder for us, because we also had to clean our house and our business, but Amy and chefs totally understood and told us to take a break and come down for our food tasting. They were so nice, so cheerful and so understanding, they really made that experience the best that my fiance and I had had in a long time. Not just as a vendor, but as people they were there for us. The wedding was perfect to, they got in touch with Kirsten from Fort Zach and worked with her to make sure people would get fed earlier if need be, they were on time, and the service of passing out the food was very timely. I could not have been happier with them. They also sent us a few emails for any information that was missing, because I was forgetful at times, but they were very nice about it and never got upset. They are the best and I highly recommend them!
I can’t say enough about how fabulous Amy and the entire team at Catered Affairs of Key West were to work with! Amy is a joy to work with, I told her the type of reception I wanted and how much I was able to spend and she worked with me to find the perfect menu that was within my budget. That being said, you would never have known that I was working within a budget because the food was out of this world! It has been a month and my guests are still raving about the food, the appetizers were a HUGE hit (I have had about 15 people ask me if I could get the recipes for teriyaki meatballs and the mini chicken quesadillas) and the dinner was even better. Equally impressive was the service, everyone was quick, courteous and fun and we never needed to ask for anything. I would hire this vendor again in a heartbeat and would recommend Catered Affairs of Key West to anyone!
I am honestly almost at a loss for words on how wonderful our experience was with Catered Affairs. I knew from many other reviews I read that this was likely "our company" and after meeting them in person I knew I chose right. I am not even lying when I say at minimum over 20 people complimented us on having "the best wedding food ever." This is why we chose this company and we are over the moon our guests enjoyed it thoroughly! Catered Affairs is extraordinarily professional. They came to our event with large staff, chef and personal food truck to cook food right on site. Bradi Parks was our go to gal when coordinating our catering. She went FAR out of her way to make sure we had a tasting set up even though she was out of town after we had to cancel our original tasting due to family member passing. She put me at ease with the severe food allergies family members had and was overall extremely professional and organized. We even met to walk through our catering the day prior to our wedding which I felt was above and beyond. I cannot say enough kind words... If you want to have "the best wedding food ever" look no further. I wish I could relive it again.
We had a wedding reception at Fort Zachary Taylor in early March 2019, and from beginning to end, planning the hors d'oevres and the meal options was an absolute delight. Not being from the area, my husband and I flew in to attend a taste-testing which was done right on the premises of their business, at a wonderful restaurant called "La Trattoria - Oceanside", right in the kitchen! We pretty much knew what we wanted, but were able to tweak sauces, herbs, etc. on the spot. It also enabled me to see just how the items would be cooked on site, in their portable kitchens! I knew that everything would be served fresh and hot, not microwaved like many other places do.
On the day of the wedding, their staff was in place and ready to go with the hors d'oevres, circulating among the guests, but making sure the bride and groom had a plate and were offered their favorite selections! We had people following the servers to get more of the fabulous conch fritters, crab cakes (better than the ones in Maryland), jerked chicken, lamb lollipops, and bruschetta!
The Caprese salad, dinner entrees -- red pepper snapper, filet mignon, and spaghetti pomodoro -- and sides of mixed grilled vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes were fabulous! We are still receiving rave reviews on all of the food!
For a late evening snack, after the cake, we offered coffee, tea, and pretzel bites which hit the spot!
Our chef came around inquiring how everything was and I couldn't have been happier! The waitstaff was very attentive and very available during service, and in-between courses.
I highly recommend this firm for any of your catering needs! They are a pleasure to work with and worth every penny!
What can I say, Amy and the catering team are absolutely wonderful. Not only are they personable, but also willing to give advice and answer any questions that may arise. But the FOOD! WOW! All my guests kept raving about the delicious churrasco, they have never had a more juicy and soft churrasco in their life. Yeah, it was that good. Everyone enjoyed building their tacos and the passed appetizers, and the stationary appetizer flew! This catering company is serious about their culinary skills. I would hire them all over again if I was crazy enough to plan another wedding, haha. The bartenders were experts and kept the guests VERY happy. Thank you all for making my wedding a dream come true (so cheesy but true).
Thank you so much! You guys were fantastic! I only ate a few bites at the wedding, but what I had was amazing and we received so many compliments on the food. I only wish the food that was packed up for us made it to our room. Unfortunately Matt's dad left it with the front desk at our hotel, but they never contacted us to let us know. It's ok, though- all the more reason to have dinner at La Trattoria next time we're visiting! Thank you again for everything...when we're back from Hawaii I plan to spread how awesome you guys are all over the internet.
